Last Night on U.S. Soil

I leave for Prague tomorrow! The journey will be long: a 5 hour drive to Chicago, a red-eye plane to Zurich, then finally arriving in Prague on Monday afternoon. Today I bought 2 books to read on the plane to keep me occupied: The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera (the whole book is based in former Czechoslovakia, so I thought it would be fitting) and then some lighter (?) reading, A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. Also bought some Tylenol PM if I'm desperate...

Packing is...interesting. I am not even close to being done and I leave so soon. Oops. Also weather is not looking too good, it snowed a bunch this morning in St. Louis and Chicago is supposed to be even worse. I'm keepin my fingers crossed!

I've been practicing my Czech and I now know how to say numbers 1-10. Way harder than I expected. Also pretty useless, seeing as the Koruna's exchange rate is crazy and it would be more helpful for me to learn the hundreds and other, much bigger numbers. (1 US Dollar = 17.6650 Czech Koruna)

I couldn't be more excited to go to Prague! I got a camera yesterday for my early bday present and was very anxious to use it. So the rest of the blog shall be in pictures.
